Life is a Garden

This beautiful girl surrounded by zinnias is from Ching-Chou Kuik and I've returned to one of my more usual color combos, something with purple, blue, or pink.  However, still in the interest of branching out and trying new things, I added yellow to the pink, a color I rarely use except for fall themed cards.

Although I took a bit of a liberty with it, my card was
inspired by the 'quilted' background in the sketch at

Colored with ProMarkers
Image cut with Sue Wilson die
Background hand-pieced using Spellbinders dies
White satin ribbon
Pink satin, hand-sewn, bows w/ pearls.

NanConnie, what a lovely, bright and cheery card you have made. Love how you have done the quilted effect backing for your "make your own background". Your card fits perfectly the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge Blog Monthly Challenge this month. Even more FANTASTIC is that you have used one of Ching-Chou Kuik's digital stamps. Thank you for entering and best wishes in the draw and for your support of this challenge blog.
