I'm just so happy to be playing in challenges again at From the Heart Stamps, including their "I {heart} Sketches" challenges. I've also been on a couple of new shopping binges in their store since Faith got back and the challenges started up again. However, the image I used today is one I've had for a while but just hadn't used before now.
I used both chalks and ProMarkers to color the image, then cut it and distressed the edges. I matted it with some pink CS, trimmed it to fit, and distressed those edges also. The sentiment is from that same set and worked so perfectly with all the dog bones buried in the garden. :-D
The ribbon was hiding in my stash and I think it came from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Well, we're half way through the week and the weekend will be here before you know it. We've had the driest day today since the long weekend started last Friday with pouring rain and more washed out streets and highways. Yesterday and today they've been able to get repair crews working so the the roads are open again, although there are still cautions and warnings on some of the less traveled streets where repairs haven't yet been done. Fortunately, nothing like that close to my home. Happy Stamping. NanaConnie

Hi Connie this is a gorgeous card. Take care. Hugs Jackie
California really does need to dry up a little now! What an awful time some of the people there have had. So glad you're ok!
Love your card and that sketch is so different and fun. You nailed it perfectly though. Cute image too!

Such a great take on this sketch! I like working with sketches, too, and it's fun to see how others interpret them! Love the colors you used and this is such a sweet image! So happy to see you at PIP Challenges this week!

How fun to be involved with "an old friend". Wonderful card! Your sentiment is especially meaningful to me. My cares always were nurtured, my problems were often solved, and peace usually resulted as I dug in the dirt! I miss gardening! Thanks for sharing your creation! XOXO
Perfect sentiment for a true gardener. Gorgeous card. hugs, Teresa
From such a cute image and great sketch layout comes a profound card! So happy you entered it into the PIP challenge this week.
Absolutely nothing wrong with diggin' in the dirt!! :) I agree with you on the FTHD! I love their images and I just love how you've used this on the sketch too! Awesome job Connie! HUGS :)
Good to hear you were safe and sound after the storms. Great sentiment to go with the great image and your interpretation of the sketch.
