PigWit in a Planter

It's a new month and I went on a shopping spree at From the Heart Stamps.  I snapped up this darling set "Hamlet PigWit in the Planter" the instant I saw it (and then found out an hour later that it was the Progressive Challenge freebie for this month and I would have gotten it anyway! lol)

I also chose to use the sketch at From the Heart Stamps
but I added the lace and flower embellies along the side.

Sketch150

I colored with ProMarkers, aiming for a lilac/lavender monochrome combo, and then cut the image with a stitched scalloped circle die from Memory Box.  I did an out-of-the-box technique with the sentiment and bottom portion of the image.   I merged the sentiment with the image before printing, using PhotoShop.

The background squares are cut from ombre scrapbooking paper and those pieces all came from the same sheet.  I mounted everything onto CS and put that onto a kraft card base.  I added embellishments of  lilac satin ribbon and white lace, plus mulberry flowers with white or purple pearls in the centers.
