Cat Help at Christmas

On the 5th day of the 2020 Cat Lovers Hop, I'm sharing a card with which every cat lover can identify!   The image is from AuroraWings and it looks so much like my Honey when he was a baby.  If I remember correctly, his first Christmas he stripped every decoration off the tree from the floor up to about the halfway point.  That year, he had no interest in climbing the tree.  By the next year, he was knocking the angel off the top of the tree.

After that, we put the tree in the family parlor which had sliding doors we closed to keep the cats out!

Colored w ProMarkers
Cut w Unbranded die
Holly & berries are buttons
Glitter added to berries
Snowflakes in opposite corners also have glitter
Red card base is embossed w Linen EF

     Challenges:

Hope to see you playing in the Cat Lovers Hop.  Remember, it closes tomorrow.  Happy Crafting.  NanaConnie

So sweet! My cats never bothered with the lights, tinsel or baubles, they were always too busy stealing the chocolate santas we hung on the tree

I feel lucky that my cats don't show interest in the Christmas tree. They just love being under it. Super cute card.

Hahahah 'Im helping'!! We also had a ragdoll that run up our tree (a real one) and rode it to the floor! We stood there in disbelief because it happened so fast! So I can imagine your kitty!! Your card is so cute and the shading is fabulous! Happy hopping with Cat Lovers!

Oh my gosh, this is so fun! I remember our first kitty climbing all the way to the top of our Christmas tree. Fortunately, she was a kitten so she didn't bring the whole tree down, ornaments and all.

Gorgeous colouring! Love your adorable card! Your story, sounds a lot like one of ours. When our 2 little black cats were kittens, Perky and Patience, they took down he entire tree the first year. After that, we figured out a way to tie it down to keep it in place and all decorations on the tree from that point on were non-breakable. LOL!

Haha - cats and Christmas trees - it's all good fun! Your kitten looks so cute, like 'butter wouldn't melt' cute, lying on her back and tangled up in tree lights. Lovely die cut frame as well. xx!

So cute and fun and TRUE!!! lol.... Lovely coloring on this sweet kitty all in a tangle with the lights! Helping, indeed. (snort!) We don't go cut a fresh tree anymore....I have a small pre-lighted artificial one that we set up in a corner of my craft room so it can be closed off during unsupervised hours. Even so, Perdita chews on it behind my back on a regular basis! We are on our second one!

Thank you so much for joining in the purry, furry fun at the #2020CatLoversHop!!!
