Cat Nip Buddies

It's Day 4 of the Cat Lovers Blog Hop.
Haven't played before and interested in joining?
Click HERE.

I'm back to another of the House Mouse images which have a cat (and mouse, of course) and I think Maxwell is doing his best to get as excited about the cat nip as the cat.  It's never going to happen, Max.  lol

I used colors from the challenge over at The Outlawz
adding yellow and green from the inspiration photo
and doing lots of layers for my twist.

Colored with ProMarkers
Cut with a Memory Box pinpoint die
Layered with QuicKutz rectangles
Scraps of dp at the corners
Card base embossed with Linen EF
Hand wrapped burlap twine bow

     Challenges:

Have you played in the Cat Lovers Hop yet?  If not, it's time to get going!  Happy Crafting.  NanaConnie

Love this fun beautifully coloured stamp and your layout that kitty doesn't look as though he wants to share

Wow, NC, your colouring looks amazing! What a gorgeous card! My boys love catnip, but Snowie can't be bothered - it doesn't seem to give her any effect, but the boys' reaction is priceless!

Yep....Cat has been into the 'Nip a little too much!! Ha.

I grow catnip in my garden for my kitties, but have to keep a mesh enclosure around it so the cats don't decimate it. I figure anything growing through the mesh is fair game for them as long as they don't destroy the main stems.

Your card is so cute and your coloring is fabulous. Love this fun HM image! Thanks so much for playing along in the #2019CatLoversHop!!

Haha, the expression on that kitty's face ..! My cats didn't get catnip much, but I do remember having some dried catnip and letting them get a whiff of it. Two of the cats loved the stuff, and the other two went, "meh.."

Two of our cats love catnip. One not so much. Such a sweetly colored image.

Jannie, how about the rusty orange of the flower pot, the yellow of the Cat Nip sign, the smokey gray of the cat, the olive green of the leaves scattered on the ground, the ocher of the ground.... ??

Even in Sri Lanka cats eat a plant called kuppameniya. Dont bother about pronouncing it. Wen they have tummy upsets they love this plant.Natures way of curing them.
Hugs and blessings to you and your family
