Mushroom Fairy for Fall

This adorable little fairy, sitting in her mushroom garden enjoying the cooler days of fall, is from All Dressed Up.

The weather has stayed pretty hot where I live until today when they are predicting 83 instead of 93, and my blogging buddy, Lynn, a Texan from head to toe, says it's stayed awfully warm in her area, too.  So this card celebrates the arrival of fall and if it hasn't cooled off for her yet, maybe the weather is heading from my house to hers.  Hang in there, Lynn!

I chose colors from the middle column of color board #363
at Color My Heart Color Dare, plus I used "Ballerina"
for her face and arms.

Colored with ProMarkers
Cut image & frame with Sizzix dies
Gold CS base
Gold, glittered flower
CAS design

  4. Perfect coloring on that cute image and of course I love the BLUE and yellow combo! VERY pretty card Connie.
And yes.....we're having some weird weather down this way. Suppose to be a high of 89 tomorrow - and 56 on Friday! Then back up again. We're pretty much like a see-saw I guess.

  8. A sweet image and I love the card you have made with her.
It is still hot here in FL too, with temps still in the 90s and high humidity. But it beats freezing in my opinion.

  13. Adorable Nana, loving the bright yellow background against the sapphire frame...great coloring. By the way, you will be happy to know, our rules have included able to use skin tones when you use an image, which will make it easier to share more of your project. I thought maybe you were unaware of the change because you used ballerina. Thanks again for sharing with us at Color Dare.
