Santa's Cookies

This is an old image, originally from Karen's - a shop which closed 3 or 4 years back, but an image I dearly love so I use it nearly every Christmas season.  Again, another of my favorites; a little animal wearing a Santa hat which I've used because I have only one or two actual Santa images and I actually prefer cute animals to Santa anyway.  :-D

Cookies for Santa

I'm really into doing Christmas cards this week, inspired by all the "Christmas in July" challenge themes, so I found this darling little Mrs. Santa image from The Paper Nest Dolls and did a very quick and simple card.

I colored with my ProMarkers, then cut the image and the mats with dies from Spellbinders.   The plaid background is a scrap which has been in my stash of Christmas papers for more than 4 years.  I really do need to learn to throw away scraps now and then!  On the other hand, it's always nice to be able to use a scrap instead of having to cut into a new piece of dp.  :-D

The sentiment is heat embossed with white EP and the red bow is one of those I make by the dozens and toss into my stash for future use.

     Challenges:
Crafting from the Heart
Crafty Creations
Crafty Gals Corner
Creative Moments
Cutie Pie
Kraftin' Kimmie
Outlawz Greetings
Merry Monday Christmas
Pammie's Inky Pinkies

Two posts again today and I have 2 scheduled again for tomorrow and Saturday, maybe even Sunday depending on whether or not I get one more Progressive Challenge card done by then.  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie
