In the Garden

It's time for a new monthly challenge at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies and this month we're sponsored by Jan's Digi Stamps.  I'm delighted to be on that DT as well and Jan's will have a new fortnightly challenge starting on Monday, February 3.  Jan's current challenge ends tomorrow at 3 p.m. Pacific time.

I used a couple of the supplemental images from Jan's "Little Garden Cottage 943J" set, leaving the cottage itself for another creation later down the road.  The snail and mushrooms made a perfect Welcome Home card.

Colored with ProMarkers
Snail is fussy cut
Mushrooms cut with Unbranded die
Green CS hand bleached
Strip of dp from scrap basket (DCWV?)
Machine embroidered flowers

     Challenges:
A Bit More Time...
Aud Sentiments
Cardz TV
Colour Crazy
Digi Choosday
Outlawz Festive Fri
Pammie's Inky Pinkies
Polkadoodles
TTCRD

Come play with us this month.  You could be the winner and take home some wonderful Jan's Digi Stamps sets!   Happy Crafting.  NanaConnie

So cute and pretty. Love the little flowers you added too.
(I'm almost back to normal - whatever normal is. Still taking it a little easy though).

Sweet as can be, Connie! I think your colorful sweet snail is precious, and that he loves his home! Wonderful card! When we lived in the Valley, we had tons of snails, and they were prolific! My dad used to get all the neighborhood kids together, and give each one of us a large size empty coffee can. For every full can we were paid a nickel LOL It was cheaper than spray and much more effective! This was a regular occurrence. I used to do it all the time to earn money LOL I suppose with the drought these days the snails are not as problematic, and do not grow to the big sizes, either! Thanks for jarring those memories today with your fun card creation! xx
