Christmas Kisses

Another Christmas card for the stash and I'm finally beginning to feel like I might get the 75 cards done that I will need for family, friends, and donating to the senior center this year.   Today's card uses an image by From the Heart Stamps, and adorable little snowman blowing Christmas Kisses.  Are you humming "Frosty, the Snowman" yet?   :-D

I used the sketch at I {Heart} Sketches.

Sketch159

I colored that cute snowman with my ProMarkers and then die cut it with a stitched circle die from Die-namics.  The doily die behind it was cut with a Cheery Lynn die.  I cut the little banner pieces from dp that has been in my Christmas/Winter stash nearly forever (like 5 years!)  Finally, I added the sentiment and the sparkly gem snowflakes and called it done.

Please continue to leave comments.  The "Word Verification" really isn't on.  BLOGGER INSISTS ON SHOWING THE "CAPTCHA" ICON BUT IF YOU IGNORE IT AND JUST PUBLISH YOUR COMMENT, IT WILL POST JUST FINE.  I WISH I COULD GET RID OF IT BUT THERE'S NO OPTION FOR THAT WHEN THE COMMENTS ARE WRITTEN IN A SEPARATE BOX.  SORRY.

Cozy Kittens

I'm sure I don't have to tell you how much I adore animal images, especially felines,  :-D  When I saw this freebie from the Stamp of the Month Challenge at From the Heart, I fell in love.  It went right to the top of my priority list.

I based my card on the sketch at I {heart} Sketches
although this time I didn't use the twist.

I used ProMarkers to color the image and die cut it using a die from Spellbinders.  The blue mat was cut with the same die and I used an embossing folder on it for the Swiss Dots.  I cut the sentiment and its mat with one of my oldest die sets,  In fact, I think those circle dies were the first ones I ever owned.   I embossed the mat for it also.

The two ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon (both of them new!) and the purple dp came from Paper Studio (also new.)  I left it pretty CAS so that it would work for either a gal or a guy.

Headless Horseman???

No, it's not the Headless Horseman.  Take a closer look.

I  used the sketch from I {Heart} Sketches
to showcase this fun Bird Brain image
by From the Heart Stamps.

Sketch120

This is a  brand new image for me and I'm using it right away!  I colored with Copics and used Memory Box dies to cut the image and the mat.  The dp piece is from DCWV, the "Autumn Melody" stack.  I added three little punched leaves which were still on my desk from yesterday's creation.  I didn't do any other embellishing since I want this for a masculine card.
