Stay Warm

In these couple of days after Christmas, our temperatures have dropped drastically; below freezing overnight and then this morning it warmed enough to rain.  Now we have cold sunshine amid the scattering clouds.  I don't want any of you Canadians or Mid-Westerners laughing at me!  Remember, I'm in California where we only have snow in the high Sierra Nevadas and when it gets below freezing, we really feel it.  I don't even own a winter coat!  lol

This card perfectly reveals what's happening in our neck of the Christmassy woods.  The image is from House Mouse.

I pulled colors from My Favorite Things.

Colored w ProMarkers
Glitter & Liquid Pearls on snow & pompoms
Cut w Fiskars
"Linen" EF used on blue CS
Snowflakes cut w AI dies
(they sparkle but it doesn't show very well)
Sentiment printed & fussy cut

This is so cute! In SC we have had cold temps too! Your card depicts the weather so well! I love seeing your kitties. I have three cats. They are a mess at times. Thanks for sharing at HMFMC. xx

And we are in the middle of summer and the temperatures here feel more like autumn/early winter. Not as cold as you are getting but then it is probably winter in California.
I like your blue and white card NanaConnie - does that mouse think it is a bird?

What an adorable stamp and card. I’m not laughing at you. We had some very hot temperatures a couple of summers ago and it was hard to handle. You probably would have laughed at us, but we don’t even own an air conditioner, except in our van.

Btw, I stopped getting notices of your blog posts again. I thought I’d just drop by to see if you had posted anything lately.

Hugs,Teresa

Love the little mouse feeding the darling little birdies. In this weather we feed the birds all winter long, and we have a big bay window where we can keep a watch on the feeders. Very relaxing. Thanks for joining us over at The House Stamps Built.

Oh my such a sweet image Connie! I love your take on the colors here! Super cute and yes, I guess being a Mid-Westerner, I'm used to a drastic temp change as it happens. It's beautiful to see it snow, but cold can be dangerous especially if you loose power like we did on Christmas evening. LOL! Coats, hats and gloves are a staple here. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas my friend and I look forward to seeing your makes in the New Year! HUGS

Love the house mouse in the snow, this is a wonderful image and card Connie. As for the cold, we are just going into a cold spell with a promise of 2inches, yes inches of snow, it'll probably gone the next day LOL.
Keep safe
