Slay the Day !

Today I'm sharing a birthday card instead of a Christmas card but tomorrow, I'll be back to Christmas.  My oldest granddaughter is absolutely mad about dragons and this cutie image from The Paper Shelter just seemed perfect for her birthday card.  I'm not the least worried about her seeing it ahead of time for two reasons; first, she rarely visits my blog and second, her birthday isn't until February so even if she sees it now, she won't remember what's on the card until she opens the envelope.  lol

I was inspired by the sketch at Tuesday Morning but turned it on end.

  1. She is such a cutie!! I think she will love this card for sure! Sometimes I can get away with showing it on my blog and sometimes I can't! I gave up trying and so make it appoint to share it later so I can surprise the recipient! :)

  3. What a wonderful card and fantastic sentiment! I love that you're not concerned about your granddaughter seeing the card ahead of time. I have made cards for my husband, while he's standing in the room talking to me, KNOWING all he saw was 'Linda crafting', without a thought to the details of the project! Thanks for sharing your wonderful card with us at The Paper Shelter, and for using one of our images!
