Finally after a long break, due partly to my being gone for more than a week earlier this month, I'm back posting a new card for the challenge at Cooking It Up with Katie. Our theme this time is "Green, Garden, Gorgeous." My card uses an image from Cornish Heritage, and I've done an Outside/Inside card this time.
The image is colored with Copics and ProMarkers, then fussy cut and layered onto a metallic paper die cut and then onto a CS die cut a size larger. I used lace ribbon and a doily on the card front (linen textured CS), layered on the image piece, and added a bow from the same lace ribbon. One flower with a rhinestone in the middle, plus rhinestones in two of the card corners, and it was finished.
The sentiment inside is from a vellum sticker and I added the two little flowers.
Challenges:
2 Sisters -- Flowers
Card Makin' Mamas -- Getting Girlie
Catch the Bug -- Flowers and colors from inspiration photo
Clearly Inspired -- Go Green
Delicious Doodles -- Loads of Layers (there are 6)
Digi Doodle Shop's Best -- Paper lace
Fairy Fun Fridays -- Anything goes
Lily Pad -- Flowers
Outlaws Paper Ala Mode -- In the Bloom
Stamp Man -- Vellum (inside sentiment)
Sweet Stampin' -- Girly but no pink
Wags & Whiskers -- Anything goes
I hope you're going to join in our challenge at Cooking It Up with Katie this week. Gardens are much in mind with spring finally here, and I know your creations are going to be simply gorgeous. Looking forward to what you submit. Happy Stamping. NanaConnie
