Late Summer on the Lake

The card today is for the FarmQuest challenge and our theme this time is "Boats."  The image was  printed in gray scale and colored it with water color paints.  The image was cut with  a QuicKutz die and the edges are inked.

The background is lavender CS and I wrapped it with 1 inch, black, sheer ribbon.  The bow was tied on a bow maker.  The sentiment was cut with an Avery Elle die.

     Challenges:

Please come and play with us.  You have two weeks to enter.  Happy Crafting  NanaConnie

Absolutely gorgeous image! I love the purple colors with this! Reminds me of a trip to Minnesota we took a few years ago! Love it!

Hi Nana Connie - so nice to see you here!! This card really caught my attention.....it is simply gorgeous!! The image makes me think of a lake in northern Wisconsin that I stayed at that was a no motor lake...so only canoes, rowboats or kayaks. My hubby and I went canoeing early one morning and it was eerily foggy but the loons were calling out to each other. It was so peaceful listening to them. Thanks so much for bringing back a great memory for me! And thanks for sharing your beautiful talents with us at PIP Challenges!!
