Here's a fun card which was inspired by the challenge theme over at Paper Dragonfly, "Summertime Buzz." I saw this image in a coloring book so I scanned it, reduced the size, and used it for this CAS card.
I colored just the bees because I wanted to enhance the "buzz" theme and I colored with ProMarkers. Both the image and the mat were cut with dies from QuicKutz. The turquoise background was embossed using my old (old, old, very old) "Linen" folder. The sentiment was printed and cut with a Tonic Studios die. No embellishments because I wanted this to be a CAS design. I'm using it for a masculine birthday card.

What a beautiful image to color! I had never thought of doing that before and then re-sizing to fit where you want it! Very clever and such a pretty card! Loving that sentiment with it too!
Great card and love the ‘bee’ theme! Thanks for joining us, and being the first entry at Twisted Thursday in our new home!
Aw this is just fab! Such a great idea to scan an image that you find and just colouring the bees really makes them stand out! Love the turquoise background too! Thanks for joining in with my challenge this week at Passion for Markers. Hugs, Karen x

The way you've chosen to just colour the bees works well on this busy panel, they could well have been lost. Thanks for joining us at HLS Birthday. :)
