Beccy, from Beccy's Place, has done a couple of fancy fold tutorials this month and I'd never made either kind of card before so I tried them. The Dutch Door fold I posted a week or so ago and now this one, an "Impossible Card," for today. I followed her Tutorial exactly and discovered that despite the "Impossible" name, it's really quite simple to make.
The imageis - make that WAS available as a digi through Sparkle n Sprinkle, and may still be available as a rubber stamp but I haven't checked that. In any case, I'm using it for their challenge.
I colored with ProMarkers and cut the image piece with a square die from Spellbinders. I inked the edges and mounted it onto the middle flap. The sentiment is part of the image set and I printed, cut, inked, and mounted it onto a scrap piece of embossed, beige CS.
That beige piece (and the one like it at the back of the card) was layered onto a scrap of the main dp, then onto black CS, and each of those was cut to size for the card. That checkered dp is digital paper from Doodle Pantry (now closed. :-( ) I love that paper because it has my favorite fall color combo and works with most fall/autumn projects.
I used a die from Impression Obsession to cut the bats from scraps of black CS and added them last. The stand-up flap folds down for mailing.
Challenges:
Brown Sugar
Crafter's Castle
Crafty Calendar
Crafty Sentiments Designs
Creates and Makes
Cutie Pie
Die Cuttin' Divas
Passion for ProMarkers
Pixie's Snippets
I hope you are enjoying your weekend and getting a bit of relaxation/"me" time and not spending it all doing household chores. :-D Happy Crafting. NanaConnie

Fabulous card! love this and thanks for joining us at Crafty Calendar challenge hugs Sue x
Great card Connie and I do love this fold! And so funny about little Dudley being this fortnight's prize! He might just be if he doesn't behave - that's a huge joke of course. One look at that little face and your heart melts. Apparently he already stands at the back door at the breeders to be let out for potty time - and if he has to go indoors then he uses a puppy pad. Watch this space in a couple of weeks time! :)

Super card! I've never tried this fold, so I'm going to have to give it a go! A really fun image, beautifully coloured! Thanks so much for sharing this lovely Autumn colour combo with us at Passion for Promarkers!

Your card is awesome NanaConnie, I'm really glad you had a go at the tutorial. I was also surprised and how really simple it is to make.
The image you used is really cute... love those shoes... but I'm sorry to say, it's not actually one of mine. Thanks for sharing with us though!
Cheers,
Beccy
I've corrected my post, Beccy. Sorry for the error in thinking it was one of yours. :-D
Super card, great design and a wonderful witch xx
Connie, this is so cute! I love your witchie-poo coloring, and the fun card fold! Your "fur" skills are amazing to me - mine just don't look like fur when it's over, and I end up changing it up a bit. Your fuzzy black kitty is SWEET! Beautifully done. Did you know that the SNS blog challenge is back? This would be perfect for it. http://sparklensprinklecreativechallenges.blogspot.com/ Wishing you a fantastic week! hugs, de
Oh my gosh I just LURVE this one Connie!! I saw it in the SnS group, but I had to stop by to tell you how much I enjoy this! Really fun that you've propped this witch up on the "impossible card" fold design! I'm with you...it's not impossible at all! LOL!! Love the addition of the fun Halloween papers and those bats!! :) HUGS
