If you're looking for my Emerald City DT post, please scroll down one.
I have a friend who loves to go to Vegas to gamble. He considers it an investment in his future since he has shares of stock in one of the casinos. I guess he figures if he loses, the hotel/casino wins and then his stock is worth more. lol Anyway, this card is just a fun and quick way to say hello to him.
The image, called "Washing Dishes," is from QKR Stampede. We start our new challenge to day and, while we always have "Anything Goes" for our theme, this week the optional twist is also Anything Goes. How can you lose?
I did a really simple card design because I am going to mail this card and I wanted it flat. It's also going to a guy who definitely ISN'T into fuss or frills.
I colored the image with my ProMarkers, then cut it and cut the red card front with stitched inside and outside dies from Die-Namics. The image is inlaid into the card front, making a single layer card that is still die cut. Fun technique!
I added the blue ribbon and red bow and it was finished. How's this for a take on patriotic US colors?

I hope you'll come and play with us this week. I know it's summer and lots of you are away on vacation (yes, I really DO understand! lol) but maybe the rest of you can find time to pop something into our challenge. Afterall, it's Anything Goes! Happy Stamping. NanaConnie
