Well, it's been a round of one madhouse event after another for the last few weeks, including an emergency admission to a hospital! I was discharged to come home day before yesterday. Much as I don't want to relive any of those hospital days, the nurses & staff at the hospital were truly wonderful and I took some hours this morning to make a thank you card to mail to them. It took me quite a while to color and get it all put together, which is a sure sign that the total recovery will be a process, not an instant event. :-D
I used this fun Three Tenors stamp from Beccy's Place and followed a modified version of their challenge sketch for May (square instead of A2.) The idea of using this image and that fun sentiment came from my daughter and I really appreciate her suggestion. It sure cut through the time I had to spend thinking of what to do and it's perfect for thanking all of the patient care staff at the hospital.
Colored with ProMarkers (following the ideas from Beccy's pre-colored version which again saved me thinking time!), then cut with a Tonic Studios die. The sentiment was printed and cut with a die from QuicKutz. The papers are from a Recollections stack. I tied one of my signature bows and added a pearl.

Oh no NC! I was wondering what had happened to you as I saw some of your makes on the challenge blogs, but not your posts! So sorry to hear you were ill and I hope that you are on the mend my friend! (I would love to send YOU a card, but don't have your address since you moved several years ago)
Of course your card is super CUTE and I'm sure it will be so much appreciated with those singing kitties! Love the coloring of that calico! Get some rest and sending thoughtful hugs your way!
Sweet card. I'm sure they will appreciate it and I'm glad you are doing better now. hugs, Teresa
Great card. I hope you will be well soon. Best wishes
