Dear Santa, Define "Good"

The week-long, Christmas-in-July challenge at Catch the Bug is more than half over and ends on Friday.  So far, I've managed to play each day and I only have two more to go.  I'm already working on a card for tomorrow but for Friday, I have to wait for the freebie image which will be posted that morning.  Today's theme is a Tic Tac Toe board and I did the first column; Bugaboo Stamps image, Funny sentiment, and Sparkly.

I used my ProMarkers again then added glitter to the ornaments in the image for sparkle.  The ribbon has been in my Christmas stash for at least 3 years, although I've used it on several cards in that time and I still have a couple of yards left.  What I never noticed until I was editing the photograph is that the 'red' stripe down the middle of the ribbon can look green when turned the right way.  I guess it has to do with how the light strikes it.  Odd that I've never seen that before.

I added the one red button to the upper corner to balance the 'weight' of the bow and pronounced this one finished.  :-D

     Challenges:
Card Mania
Chocolate, Coffee and Cards
Colour Your World
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas
Crafty Hazelnut's Extra
Creative Moments
Cutie Pie
Glory of Christmas
Kit and Clowder
Quirky Crafts
Sister Act

I hope your week is going well.  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie

Hey, Nana Connie. I linked up earlier to the CIJ at Bugaboo and had to tell you I have this image and love it. You did a great job with the grays and the reds. It's so cute. Love the sparkle, too.

Another darling Christmas card! While I won't be able to play in the challenge, you, me dear California friend, motivated me to print out 6 Bugaboo Christmas images, and I've colored 2 so far.

I can sit up just long enogh to color a few moments at a time. Thanks, Connie, for sharing your fun images staged in pretty settings. xoxo

Hello
Want to drop a note to thank you for your sweet comments. They mean a lot to me that you have taken the time to stop by. I have not been on the computer much. As I am caregiving for a dear friend who had Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Every day her fragile body is deteriorating. I have not ever seen someone dying right in front of me. All I can do is just keep her comfortable, encourage her and trust the Lord to be her comfort and joy. So please do not be dismayed, when I am unable to stop by your blogs and leave some love.
Your project/card is amazing and look forward to stopping by when I can. Have a wonderful day and even better week.
In His Joy
Berni

OMGoodness, this is sweet. From the look on the kitty face, it seems she is saying just that. Darling ribbon and bow.

I was just looking at Cleo's picture and your tribute. I'm glad you have that on there. I'm sure it helps.

Blessing hugs,
Teresa

This is super cute!! I have three cats and I know their definition of being good is sometimes a bit different than mine. : ) So that sentiment is perfect mixed with that image. Thanks for playing with CHNCC2. (Sorry I'm so late in commenting)
