Hello from a Dragon

My eldest granddaughter loves dragons and I thought she might need a sweet "Hello" for no reason other than Nana was thinking about her, so here's the result.

I chose the sketch from Sweet Sketch Weds 2
and the image is from A Day for Daisies.

The dragon is colored with ProMarkers and corner punched.  The sentiment is computer printed and corner punched.  All three papers have been in my stash for who knows how long and are probably from DCWV.  The ribbon looks blue in the photo but is actually royal purple. The flowers are silk and I added a few sequins for some bling.

     Challenges:
Brown Sugar
Catch the Bug (#2)
Craft for the Craic
Crafty Hazelnut's
Digi Choosday
Di's Digi Designs
Fan-Tastic Tuesday
Hiding in My Craft Room
Jo's Scrap Shack
Outlawz Coloring
Simply Papercrafts
Sister Act

The weekend is nearly over and I've been called for Jury Duty tomorrow.  I do have to report in but who knows if I'll be chosen to serve.  Still, I have to prepare as though I'll be gone all day and maybe even a few days so I've been working ahead on some of my DT work.  Hope you've had a wonderful weekend.  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie

  3. This is a very cute Hello for your granddaughter. I laughed when I saw this posting because I just mailed my grand daughter a Hello card yesterday for no reason also. This little dragon is just darling and I love the papers you choose to back him up. I hope you don't get picked for the jury unless you really want to. I dread it every time I get my summons. Well wishing you the best week you can have.

  8. Darling little dragon, Miss Connie, and such a sweet setting with the pretty purples! Take an interesting book to read while waiting for jury duty. I always seem to catch capital offense trials like murder or attempted murder, and it's so unnerving!

    love you bunches,
    de
