Warm Kitchen for Thanksgiving

I'm a bit under the weather the last day or two but I do have posts scheduled so if I decide to just crawl back into bed for the rest of the week, you won't even know I'm missing.  :-D  Today I'm posting a card with an image from the November Digi of the Month Progressive Challenge at Deedee's Digis.  If you've been playing along regularly, you should already have this "Mix It Up" set.  If you didn't get to play last month, you can purchase the set for $1.25, make something to play along, and then get the one for next month free.

I chose to use the sketch at The Outlawz
and their sketch challenge is being sponsored by Deedee's Digis
this entire month.

This is one of the pre-colored images which I die cut and matted with some dp from DCWV.  I used one of the recipe cards as background which came from a freebie set Deedee made to go with the Mix It Up set.  BTW, grabbing those would be a good idea if you're someone who gives homemade goodies at Christmas and likes to pass on the recipe or if you're part of a recipe exchange group!

The sentiment happens to be mine but there are some great ones in the set, along with fabulous digital papers.  The bow is also a die cut and that die came from Cottage Cutz.  The die cut across the middle of the card is a leftover scrap cut with a frame die from Spellbinders.

  10. Darling card, Connie. I see one of our moose came down to spend a 2nd Thanksgiving with you, since we already had ours in October. At least she can cook. Most of them just know how to stop traffic.

I hope you are feeling better soon.

    Blessing hugs,
    Teresa
