Anniversary Roses

Can you imagine?  I've been invited to be a Guest Designer this month at the Ooh La La challenge!   Not only that, but I've done my very first ever pyramid card using one of the sets from Ooh La La.  Our theme is "Inspired by Nature" and what more represents 'Nature' than gorgeous roses?   Although there's no sentiment on the card front, I used it as a congratulatory Anniversary card for friends.  The inside sentiment (which I didn't photograph) was very personal for them and I chose not to share it.  Sorry.  :-D

All the papers and images on the card are part of the set.  Each layer is popped up on dimensional dots. I did ink the edges of the bottom layer and the pink background paper with a green ProMarker in a shade to match the ribbon I used.  That ribbon was in my stash and I have no idea who made it.  I wrapped the ribbon both directions around the background piece and tied a triple loop bow.

     Challenges:
Addicted to Stamps & More
Anything Goes with a Twist
Craft-Dee BowZ
Crafting from the Heart
Digistamps 4 Joy
Fab 'n' Funky
Inky Impressions
MilkCoffee
Not Just Cards
Sister Act

Have a great week and come play with us at Ooh La La.  This challenge runs for a fortnight so lots of time to get something done and enter it.  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie

  1. Congrats on being their guest designer! Love your pyramid card.
I have to share a quick story with you. I was visiting my in-laws in Vermont and they feed all sorts of wild animals, incuding skunks. One of those skunks is white with a black stripe down the middle and it reminded me of the skunk card you created. So there really are some skunks that have a black stripe down the middle instead of white :-).
