I'm so honored to have been asked to be a Guest Designer at Lacy Sunshine. Since the theme is "Include a Window," the whole team is showcasing Heather's "Secret Window" images and I chose "Izzybella Booboo Buttons." Isn't she adorable? She makes such a special card for someone who needs to know they're missed, like one of our military troops stationed overseas.
I chose the sketch from Sketch n Dies
and my colors (use at least 3 out of 5) came from
the Color challenge at The Outlawz.
Izzy is a new image for me and is colored with ProMarkers, then fussy cut. Both of the papers I used were very old scraps from my stash and I die cut them with dies from Spellbinders and QuicKutz. The swirl is made with some of the negative bits from this Cheery Lynn corner die (only part of it shows in the photo.) The tiny hearts are also from this same die cut. I cut two of these to have enough hearts. I'll use the other one on another project some other time.
The sentiment is computer generated and adhered right to the card front without matting. The sparkle was done by coloring the hearts and swirl with a sparkle gel pen.
The weekend is passing quickly, even for those of us in the USA who have a Monday holiday. I hope you're having fun, no matter what the weather might be out your way. Come play along this week and, if you use a Lacy Sunshine image, you can get a freebie to play the next challenge through the loyalty rewards program. You can purchase the featured digi for this challenge for only $2.00 if you didn't qualify for the freebie. Happy Stamping. NanaConnie
