Lovely Ivy

I'm kind of sneaking in at the last minute to enter the challenge at Lacy Sunshine but I've been away so much and then trying to catch up on everything that this is the best I can do this time around.  The theme is "Goth or Non-traditional Hair Color."  I used an image of Ivy and did a monochromatic green color combo.

My sketch came from the Outlawz Sketch challenge.

The image is colored with my ever-favorite ProMarkers using the ultra fine nibs on that green hair.  I die cut the image with a die from Spellbinders.  I mounted that onto sticker paper, fussy cut it, and then added Velvet Glitter from Sparkle n Sprinkle to the open parts of the die cut.  Hard to photograph but a great effect IRL.  That Velvet Glitter is the most fantastic stuff I've ever used!

Papers are from DCWV and the gingham bows are hand tied with ribbon from really Reasonable Ribbon.

     Challenges:
613 Avenue Create -- A/G
A Gem of a Challenge -- Gingham ribbon & dp
Craft-Dee Bowz -- A/G
Di's Digi Designs -- Ribbons & bows
Paper Nest Dolls -- A/G
Seemacrafts -- Make it cute
Simon Says Stamp Monday -- A/G
Sisters of Craft -- A/G
Sparkle n Sprinkle -- Glitter, EP, or Flock
We Do Doobadoo -- Ribbon

The week is sliding down to the weekend and I hear that temperatures around the old home town are going to rise again in honor of the summer solstice.  The only happy side to that is the days will be getting shorter even though temperatures will be getting hotter.  Sooner or later, fall and winter must arrive with cooler air and fewer allergens.  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie
