I'm still into celebrating 'Snow Day Fun', so loved by all school children who live in areas where a snow storm can mean an unexpected day off from school studies. Yes, I know it means an extra day of school at the end of the academic year, but on the snow day, that hardly seems important. :-D
Our newest challenge at Tuesday Throwdown this week has a theme of "Shiny and New" (use something new.) Our wonderful and generous sponsor is The Digi Garden. They were so wonderful in supplying the DT members with digis to use for this challenge and the prize from them will be digital images, also. The one I used is called "Lolly, Snow Day."
Lolly is colored with Spectrum Noir markers and I used sparkle gel pen on the snow. Then I die cut, corner punched and matted, then corner punched again. I used that same corner punch on the white card base, too. Can you believe everything on the card is new? Many Santa-goodies, once again, including the dp, one of which is sparkly with glitter. The laces and ribbons were in my stocking, but I happen to know they're from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I added blue, epoxy snowflakes, plus the one white snowflake with the blue gemstone, also new.
Challenges:
ATCs & Cards with Attitude -- Anything goes
Card Crafter's Circle -- No Business like Snow Business
Card Mania -- Winter Wonderland
Digi Haven -- Sparkle and Bling
Fat Pages & Cards with Attitude -- Anything goes
Forever Friends -- Anything goes (bi-weekly)
Gingerloft -- Winter
Scrapper's Delights -- Snowflakes
Simply Create, Too -- Let it snow
I really want to see you playing along with us at Tuesday Throwdown this week. It's so simple when all you have to do is show us something new -- even a new technique would probably work! Come on and join in. Happy Stamping. NanaConnie

I used the sketch from Stella Says Sketch but turned on end, obviously.

Sooo gorgeous. Love that little sweetie and you have coloured her beautifully. Nicola x
Hi NC, a gorgeous pretty card, the image is super and a great colour combo, unfortunately we do not get "good" snow, ours always ends up a mucky brown slush.
All the best for 2013
