Doodle Pantry Vintage Bear

     Today you'll find December's New Releases at Doodle Pantry and I was delighted to find this wonderful "Vintage Bear" among the sets.  I think he'd be perfect for a Christmas card but I wanted to use one of the sentiments which also comes with the set so I opted for a general card instead of Christmas.

     He's colored with Promarkers and cut with a square die, then I added a bit of distress ink to the edges.  I used a large die from QuicKutz to make the shaped card, and then used a smaller version of that same die to cut the mat for the image.

     There was so much detail and texture in the card shape and the mat that I decided it would be fine to have just a couple of flowers for embellishment.  I love the sentiment, "Sometimes you just need a fuzzy friend."   How true!

     Not only would this be a great card for a new baby but I've been assured by a "very reliable source" that even a teenage girl would like it on a card, for either Christmas or a birthday.   :-D
