Favorite Things challenge at Cooking It Up with Katie

Hello.  Even though I'm posting this a little bit early because I'm having problems with Blogger actually doing the scheduled posts, let's hope by the time you read this that it's actually a wonderful Wednesday morning.   I'll be slaving away at work early and won't have time to check on the post.  That's the reason for posting it manually ahead of time.

We have a new challenge for you at Cooking It Up with Katie today.  It's a really easy recipe this week.  We ask that you use 3 of your favorite things on a card or project, and tell us what the 3 things are.  Here's my card; image from Fred, She Said and sketch from Catch the Bug.

FEBRUARY SKETCH

Let me start by telling you what my three favorite things are for making a card.  1) patterned dp; 2) die cuts; 3) ribbon flowers or bows-- on this card I used both.  This time I colored the image with watercolors, fussy cut it and adhered it to a pink die cut, layered onto a raspberry die cut.  The papers are all from K & Co. (scraps left over from another project), and I love the fresh, spring colors in them.  The flowers are from my replenished stash of handmade ribbon flowers and the satin bow I made just for this card.

     Challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks -- 2 of something (2 flowers each of 2 different colors and styles)
Craft Us Crazy -- Favorite embellishments: satin flowers
Crafty Catz -- Favorite things: die cuts, dp, & flowers
Crafty Purple Frog -- Flower Power
Delicious Doodles -- Pink
Desert Islands Crafters -- 3 from the list: 2 dp, green, die cuts, polka dots
Digi Doodle Shop's Best -- Anything goes
Do You Stack Up? -- Layers
Fairy Tale -- Spring
Outlawz PAM -- Dreaming of Spring
Totally Papercrafts -- Ribbon &/or bows

I hope we see you playing along this week at Cooking It Up with Katie.  After all, it couldn't be any easier -- 3 of your favorite things and tell us what they are.  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie
