This image I just got from Bugaboo, "Crabby Cat", cracks me up! He reminds me of every husband I've ever known who thinks he is in charge of the home front. He also reminds me of my Cleo-cat, acknowledged around here as 'the Duchess', due to her demeanor with Honey, the younger cat (who doesn't acknowledge Cleo as 'the Duchess' or the boss!). Come to think of it, Cleo has the same demeanor with me! :-D
Crabby Cat is shaded with markers and colored pencils, then fussy cut and matted with brown CS along with the sentiment. The sentiment is part of the stamp set from Bugaboo. The card base is made from embossed/textured CS which I just bought, and I'm loving it for card bases. It's heavy, sturdy, and I got it in 6 colors. I punched the circle with a hand punch and the polka dot ribbon is from my stash. I added the rhinestone brads to both the sentiment and the circles before adhering them. That gave just a touch of bling but kept the card pretty simple since it's a "guy" card and doesn't need tons of embellies on it.
Challenges for this card:
Cards for Men -- Seeing red
Digistamps 4 Joy -- for the Boys
Drunken Stampers -- Something new (image is new for me and card base CS is new)
Heart Song Inspirations -- Buttons OR brads
Operation Write Home -- Bling without glitter (rhinestones)
Outlawz Twisted Thursday -- with a twist of red
Sweet Stampin' -- Animals
OK, have a Happy Monday to start your week off really well, and Happy Stamping! NanaConnie
Sketch is from Stella Says Sketch and colors are from Catch the Bug.

Love this image (and your card) Connie. The expression on the cats face is just priceless! I KNOW my cat thinks it's the boss most all of the time - and usually is! LOL!
Great card.

Who is the boss. I am a cat lover and this card is so stinking cute. adorable
What a fun image and your post is funny, too. This really is a good guy card.
Connie,
What a cute card! In our house, it's a little doggie that we rescued from the shelter that rules the roost! :)
Ha-ha-ha! Gotta love a cat. Your card is too cute, love the image.
Isn't that the truth! Love your humorous card today following the sketch and color combo. That ribbon is really beautiful the way you have it layered, PC! And those kitties... what's a kitty lover to do? Be well!

This card will definately make someone smile when they see it.
I love the pics of your own cats and the captions you gave them.
Your card totally cracked me up! I am typing like a mad woman because my handsome boy cat (I HAVE to call him handsome, don't you know!) is meowing at me to come sit down and let him sit on my lap! Great, great card. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!

Great card, Connie. One of our cats can be very cranky, too! She comes and goes as she pleases and snarls when things aren't going her way. I think she would have preferred to be an "only child" receiving our undivided attention...
Great take on the sketch btw and I love the colours.
just fabulous, combining the two!
I love the way you have interpreted the sketch and the colours! Thanks for entering our Stella Says Sketch #103 and Catch the Bug challenges.
