Tuesday Throwdown with Dearie Dollies

It's Tuesday again, which that means Tuesday Throwdown Challenge, and we have a completely new sponsor this week.  Dearie Dollies is not only a new sponsor for TT, I've only just discovered them, and I'm so glad I did!  Adorable and fun digis, and Mary Ellen, owner/artist, supplied the team with the digis we are using this week.  Our theme is "From the Heart" and we want to see hearts on your projects.   I used Dearie Dolly Daisy Girl, and while I used her for a Valentine/Love card, she's really very versatile and could be used for any spring or summer card, including Easter.

I used a sketch from My Time Made Easy and then added lace and ribbon flowers and hearts for embellishments.

I colored her with markers and watercolor pencil, then die cut and matted the image using Spellbinders dies (Ovals and Scalloped Oval.)  I sponged one layer of oval with lilac ink.  The dp is from SU, and the sentiment was printed with my computer, then matted with black CS.  I added the lace and the ribbon flowers.  The hearts were punched from holographic CS and pierced with a sharp awl.

     Challenges:
Allsorts -- 1 or more Hearts
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards -- Thinking of You/ Missing You
Craft Us Crazy -- Valentine/Love
Crafty Purple Frog -- Valentine/Show Some Love
Crazy 4 Challenges -- Layer It On (there are a total of 11 if you count embellishments)
Digi Doodle Shop's Best -- Anything Goes
Ditzy Craftymess -- Anything Goes (new challenge blog!)
DRS Designs - Hearts
Mark's Finest Papers -- At least 4 layers
Paper Play -- Lovely Lace
Scrappy Frogs -- Lace
Secret Crafter -- Ribbon
Shelly's Images -- Text/Sentiment on the front
Simply Create, Too -- Valentine/Love
Stampin' with the Dragon -- Anything Goes

I hope you have a fabulous Tuesday and that you'll find something you want to share with us at our Tuesday Throwdown challenge this week.  See you over there.  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie
