Dude Time New Release & Blog Hop

Welcome to another Dude Time Doodles new image release.   If you want to see each new image, come along on the blog hop and you'll have a chance to meet Postman Pearce, Cleve Climber, Lawrenbce of Lawn, Ted Tightend, Gotta Pee, Fanny Beach, Fanny Witch, and right here on my blog, Hagar, the Horrible!  Each of these images will be available at Bonibleaux Designs by 10:00 Wednesday morning (Eastern time).

The hop is a circle so while you could have gotten here from Cleota's blog, you can start anywhere and just keep going until you return to your starting spot.  OK, time to meet Hagar, the Horrible, and just in time for Halloween!

Out of all the new images this month, Hagar was the one who called out to me (wheedled and moaned?) to be used for my first, real Halloween card this year.   I know, I know, -- I used Gavin Ghost a couple of weeks ago but not as a Halloween card.  Hagar knows all about Halloween, and having bratty kids come around his house begging for candy and threatening all kinds of mischief if they don't get any.   He prepares for it by sharpening his teeth and practicing his wicked, blood-curdling, nasty laugh, hoping they'll leave him alone and go harass someone else in Dudeville Hollow.

All the papers are from my scrapbooking stash, the twine is from The Twinery, and everything is matted with black CS.  The sketch is from Eat, Sleep, Stamp.  I sometimes think Tracy reads my mind and designs sketches which are exactly what I need at that moment.  This one sure worked for Dude Time this week!  Thanks, Tracy.

Sketch 144

I'll be submitting this to Do You Stack Up where they want to see cards for boys or men; to Aly's Sunday Challenge (back after a summer break) for her Halloween theme; to 2 Sisters for their Boys & Their Toys challenge theme; to House That Stamps Built for their 'For the Guys' theme; to Corrosive Challenges for their "Dark Side" theme (going to miss Janet terribly!),; to Cards for Men where the challenge theme is "G is for..." (my "G" on this one is "Ghoul"!); Whoopsi Daisy for their Autumn Colors theme; and to Digi Doodle and Daisy Doodles for their Anything Goes challenge.

Don't forget, the 1st Annual Dudeville Hollow Scavenger Crawl is still going on through September 6, and all the pre-existing Halloween images at Bonibleaux Designs are 50% off starting tomorrow (not including Hagar or Fanny Witch. from the new releases.)  Check them out and grab whichever ones you want before they move out of Dudeville forever.

OK, now you need to go visit our Guest Designer Sammibug's blog and see what she's showcasing this month.  You're going to love it, I promise!  And leave comments on each blog as you go.  One of us is the Mystery Hostess, and there are prizes to be won!  You could be the winner this week!

Thanks for your generous comments, and I'm glad you could visit.  Happy Crafting.  NanaConnie

Hagar looks quite menacing. The layout is fabulous and the colours stunning. Of course he had to be coloured in purple. :)

I think you know just when I need a good laugh. OMG I was in tears at this Dude Time image. Hold on, I need to wipe my eyes... okay I'm back. This is just priceless. Am I a super bad person if I admit I've actually thought this (the sentiment) before?? LOL! So glad the sketch worked for you Connie. It truly worked for me. Love how you incorporated it into a Halloween card (one of my favorite holidays). And some twine to tie everything up. Love it & you my dear!
Hugs,
Tracy
