Dude Time Inspiration Challenge

Another Wednesday, another challenge at Dude Time Doodles.  This week we have an inspiration photo and a "sports" theme.  There are five colors and you can choose any one or more.  I managed to get in the Pea Shoots, Mud Brick, and just a touch of Citrus.

August Inspirational  In addition to the colors I used, there are also Carnival and Open Sky.  I used a sketch from Eat, Sleep, Stamp (big surprise -- like you've never heard me rave about Tracy's fabulous sketches!!)  Sketch 142

This is Football Phil and you can find him here at the Bonibleaux store.  He loves to run with the football, but has trouble remembering which way to the goal posts!  Sometimes he runs back and forth, twisting his way out of tackles by the opposing team, and does manage to finally make it to the end zone for a touchdown.  He knows he's hot stuff and doesn't mind letting everyone know he's Number 1.  When you buy this digi, you get Phil facing both directions.  The sentiment on this card is printed from the computer.  You're welcome to use it -- it certainly isn't 'mine'.  I think people have been using that phrase for as long as football has been played.  :-)

All you have to do to play in this week's challenge is use a sports theme, make sure it's a card for a guy, and use a color or two (or five!) from the inspiration photo.  You're not even required to use a Dude Time Doodles image, but we smile a lot when when you do.   Enter early, enter often -- you could be the chosen one this week.   If  you're one of those who thinks that masculine cards are hard to make (yep, I used to be in that group), let me suggest a trip over to the Dude Time Doodles/Bonibleaux Designs store.  When you use Boni's images and sentiments, guy cards practically make themselves.  If you need help deciding on a layout, find a sketch and then dive right in.  They're fun and easy -- really.

OK, now head over to the Dude Time challenge blog and get some inspiration from all the other Dudettes as well.  Then, come play with us!  And don't forget the fabulous Scavenger Crawl starting next Wednesday.

I'm also entering this at Cards for Men in their Anything Goes challenge.

Happy Creating.  NanaConnie

Fantastic card. Very clever use of both images. Maybe next game Phil will know which way to run!

Love how you've got him going back and forth like he's lost. Felt like that all day (only I was driving in an unfamiliar city).
