Dragon Christmas

Totally simple card this morning -- so simple, I've made three already, with only minor changes.

The image is from Stamping with the Dragon and their challenge is a special one this week.  They're having us do cards to put a smile on a kid's face.  All the details are on their blog site, but the short version is that the cards will be donated to children's hospitals.  The challenge is for any Holiday or Birthday cards for the kids.  This particular card will be going to Send a Smile 4 Kids, the organization collecting the cards.   Send a Smile also asks that you not use loose glitter, so the sparkle on this card is either sparkle gel pen or Stickles.  I'm submitting this at Clear It Out for their "Glitter" challenge.

I had such fun making this one that I did a couple more which I can use for Operation Write Home, although those have NO GLITTER on them at all.  I'll be submitting this for both the Inchies challenge (my embossed snowflakes) at OWH and to their CAS Blog Skip linky.

Pixie Cottage supplied the sketch for this one.

CAS-ual Fridays wants to see a simple design and also wants us to do embossing, either wet or dry.  Not only are my snowflakes embossed, so is the red CS background.  I'll link this one to Mark's Finest Papers also, since they want to see embossing.

Finally, Winter Wonderland wants to see Christmas for Boys or Men, and Paper Playtime's theme is Anything Goes.

OK, it's quiet around here today; both cats are napping (though in separate rooms) and the dogs outside aren't even barking, so I'm going back to the craft room and see what else I might be able to accomplish.  Thanks for visiting and feel free to browse while you're here.  Happy Crafting.  NanaConnie
