It's my second Wednesday on the Design Team for Cooking It Up with Katie and we have a new recipe for you. This week we are sponsored by Meljen's Designs, sold through Whimsy Stamps, and also by Pizzazz. The recipe is to use Pink, have lots of Bling, and add a Sticker. How simple is that one? I know you can do it! Let's see what you can create. Here's mine:
I used a sketch from Taylored Expressions
and the Meljen's image is colored with Copics using colors from Play Date Cafe, mint, coral & ivory. I also highlighted bits of it with glaze pen.
The dp all came from SEI, except for the pink CS used for the Spellbinders die cut. The circle with the flower on it and the pearl flourish, plus the rhinestones, are all stickers. For additional 'Pizzazz', I added pearls to the flower centers. I'm going to submit this to Daisy Doodles, Digi Doodles, Party Time Tuesday, and Totally Gorjuss for their Anything Goes challenges.
I love this image of the little girl celebrating with the butterflies. She's so happy and joyful. I just know this was her last day of summer before school started again. :-) This seems an appropriate card for the Outdoor Fun challenge at Wags n Whiskers. Also, Digital Tuesday is "Going Buggy" and wants to see bugs. I think butterflies count. Finally, Victorine Stamps wants us to do a summertime theme.

Such a sweet card Connie. Just wanted to hurry and peep in. I haven't been able to get on the computer much lately. My job is full-time, and I just forgot how to function that way after being laid off for 11 months. I don't have time to do anything anymore lol.
